Let's Make History Event

The Bremhill Parish History Group invite you to attend a talk in situ about the fascinating history of Saint Martin's Church by the well- known local clergyman and historian Jim Scott. This entertaining talk will be followed by insights into Bremhill Court, the architecture and the personalities that lived there, by the present incumbent Chris Ellis. This promises to be a wonderfully interesting evening visiting both buildings which are adjacent to each other and combine a bit of local history, hear about several famous occupants, all mixed with a measure of good humour and of course...refreshments. An evening not to be missed.

Thursday 15th August, 6 pm at St. Martin's Church, and afterwards at Bremhill Court. Speakers: Reverend Jim Scott and Chris Ellis. The event is free but pre-booking is essential. Please RSVP to Sarah Jones on 01249 - 760183 or xsarahjones@gmail.com.

History Project Questionnaire

The Committee of the History Project are very grateful to those people who have already completed and handed in the questionnaire which was inserted in last month's Newsletter, giving useful information. If, however, you have not yet completed one and handed it in, it is not too late. If this is the case, please do return the form as soon as possible as the information given is helpful and appreciated.

Many thanks for your help.
