The first phase of the Bremhill Parish History Group project has now been completed. As required by the principal funder, the National Lottery Heritage Fund, a survey and final report was prepared and submitted to the NLHF. Having reviewed the report, they released the final grant payment due to the project. Our thanks to the NLHF, and to all the other funders, for their support – without which none of this would have been possible.

Further work is planned to produce more educational material, further trails for the app and more content and links for the website, especially on the buildings of the parish.

However, we are taking a pause after the herculean efforts to produce and sell the book, and deliver the second history festival. We have now sold out of the book. Wiltshire Victoria Country History

Volume XX of the Wiltshire Victoria Country History which covers Chippenham and the surrounding parishes continues to make progress.
